A CreaturePeircing, daunting, haulting sound…
Outcast by a Creature, product of Her own surround.
Skewed thoughts, mangled desire, are what fuels this Creature's fire.
Panic stricken full of fear, she preys the end draws closer near
Twisting, turning, working free, the monster pushed himself against me
He grabs her hair and pulls it tight, as she struggles a losing fight.
Leaning forward he whispers now
"See, I told you, you would be mine somehow"
SinkingTreading water to keep my head above with all the rest,
Tiring, exhausting, gasping for air but inhaling water.
Choking, panicking, the realization of a battle lost,
and ideas of pride in dignity comes to me.
One last breath, and i let it go; slowly sinking beneath them.
With panic gone from me, my eyes open.
A murky blue, rippled images seen through wet distances,
beauty unimaginable whilst treading the surface.
Diving deeper i see more clearly than i ever did before,
Breathing easier than i ever did with air.
My lungs expand and the further i sink the higher i float.
Dreams once buoyant as driftwood sink with purpose
much like an anchor in search of a seabed,
pulling me down with them.
